William B. Carver

Ashland, NH - William Bradford "Brad" Carver, a "romantic musician poet", left this world on April 20th, 2025. The same day as Pope Francis, coincidence, he might have said.

He was our beloved father, husband, son, brother and friend. He had many passions in his life, from rocking jazz guitar, to cooking gourmet meals, straight down to his children.

He spent the greater part of his life as a postal employee for the grand ol' Pony Express, delivering mail and cheer to doorsteps far and wide. His early hobbies included karate and boxing. But one passion stuck with him until his final moments. After retiring from the postal service, he began throwing himself head first into his music. He was a great admirer of jazz and blues music, and having always played in rock n' roll bands, finally took on the art of jazz. As if starting out all over again, he studied and practiced, trying to master his art. Ultimately he would fall back to his rock roots to become a local solo act. Over the last few years he had amassed some steady gigs, and grabbed quite the local following.

Right up to his final moments he will be remembered for his grandiose personality and larger than life spirit. Kindness and love were tenets he lived by. Those who knew him well, will miss him very, very much.

He leaves behind his wife, Maurine Chase, his daughter Shiloh Carver and her partner Eric Greene, his son Noah Carver and his wife Pauline Salvagniac, step daughter Crystal Carle and her husband Bob Jackson, his mother Barbara Carver, sisters Anne, Elizabeth, Eve, and Beauty, his brother Kenneth, and William Spielman, and lots and lots of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends and fans! He was pre-deceased by his sister Drue.
