Canterbury, NH — CANTERBURY --- William A. Nelson, 95, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Concord Hospital.
Willie loved being with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and traveling with his wife BeBe. He really enjoyed his work and worked until he was 75. In his later years, he loved screening loom.
Willie is survived by his son Douglas and his wife Beverly, of Canterbury, his daughter Sherry Weber and her husband Larry, of Butler, WI, and grandchildren Tracy Frost, Aaron, Casey, Sabrina, and Jonathan Nelson and great-grandchildren Dallis and Dakota Austin, Sabrina Duquette and Lahtesha Nelson and a great-great-grandchild Charles Bateman, and step-children Elizabeth and Cheryl Elliott. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife Gladys Walker, second wife Beatrice Campbell, sons Larry and Wesley Nelson, brothers John and Arthur Nelson, and sisters Edith Flynn, Ellen Hildreth, and Alice Russell.
Services will be private.

Willie was an incredible man and we're so lucky Cheryl brought him into our lives!
Just like Cheryl, he had the biggest heart. Luckily, Cheryl was able to spend the end of his life with him and was there to take care of him. We're definitely going to miss having a cold Coors with him.

My family was blessed to know Willie thru this beloved Bebe (my mom's maid of honor) I totally recall him manuvering that long motor home on my NC driveway like a professional driver. Loved his sense of humor and laughter. Please know how much our family loved Willie and how good her was for Bebe. Many prayers for his family...hold tight to the happier memories to help you thru the difficult days ahead
