William Willey Obituary
Minneapolis , MN - Bill Willey passed away on April 29, 2024 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis, MN where he resided for many years. He was born in Concord on January 2, 1946, the son of Bernice (Heath) Willey and Ellery Willey.
Bill is a graduate of CHS (64') and graduate of the Pierce College Business School in Concord, NH. He served in both the US Air Force and the US Navy as an enlisted officer. In Concord, he worked at Page Belting and Rumford Press as an accountant.
Bill was surrounded by many staff and friends at the VA Home where he shared his love of cards and New England sports, mostly the Boston Red Sox. He is survived by a sister, Carol (Nickerson) Royce of Concord and daughter Amy Hisey in Ponca City, Oklahoma, two granddaughters Kelley Joy and Ashley Pearl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in NH and Minnesota.
Bill will be interred with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
