Charles McKenna Obituary

Charles Edward McKenna, age 88, of Savannah passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Mr. McKenna was born on July 7, 1937 in Savannah to the late John & Cora McKenna. Before retiring, he worked as a baker for Krispy Kreme Donut Company from 1958 until 2001.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Crosby McKenna.

Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Road Savannah, GA 31404).

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Drive Savannah, GA 31406).

My dear Uncle Charlie, You were a great Uncle, Brother and Son.. I have tried to locate you for a long time. You were a great man. You loved your wife with all your heart. You worked very hard and made the best donuts ever. I have many happy memories with you. You truly were an honorable man who loved his family. May you rest in peace.
