Charlotte Racioppi Obituary

Charlotte M. Racioppi, 89, died peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025.

Born and raised in Passaic, NJ, Charlotte married Joseph Racioppi in May 1956. The couple lived in Newark, NJ, before moving to Edison and Allentown, NJ. They eventually settled in Savannah, GA, to be closer to family. Charlotte worked for over 25 years at the New Jersey Department of Employment Services in Perth Amboy, NJ, before retiring in 2001.

An avid reader, Charlotte loved to travel with her husband, family, and friends. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed playing cards, particularly Hand and Foot and Rummy Cubes. Charlotte participated in several neighborhood groups in Allentown. She had a keen sense of humor and loved to laugh.

Charlotte was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and aunt, and a generous, caring friend. She is survived by her husband, Joe; her daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Ralph; her son, Frank, and daughter-in-law, Debbie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 27, 2025 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenwich Cemetery.
