Herman Hensley Obituary

Mr. Herman D. Hensley, 77, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 23 2025 at his home.

He is going to be missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet "Jan" Hensley; daughter, Melissa Rego; grandchildren, Shannan Stanley, Tawny Rego, Nicholas Rego, and Braeden Rego; brothers, Gene Hensley and Huie Hensley, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Herman was born in Asheville, North Carolina and spent 40 years in Sebring, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Hazel Hensley, as well as two brothers, Harley Hensley, Jr. and Howard Hensley. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Sebring and retired as the store manager from Sherwin Williams after 31 years. After retirement, he was an avid golfer and fisherman. He will be remembered as being a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

The memorial service to honor Herman's life will be on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
