Alice Richard Obituary
NEWCOMERSTOWN: Alice Druzilla Richard, 68, a resident of the Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the past several years, formerly of Coshocton, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 15, in the Riverside manor care facility.
Alice was born in Frostburg, Maryland on January 19, 1947, and was preceded in death by her parents, James Edwin Baker, Sr., and Mary Louise Johnson Baker. Alice was a homemaker for all her adult life. She was a Catholic by faith and enjoyed playing BINGO, playing cards, and bowling.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by a daughter, Autumn Perry, Newcomerstown; a granddaughter, LaTonia Marie More, Coshocton; a son-in-law, Joseph Endsley, Coshocton; and a brother, Ronald Baker, Norwalk, Ohio.
Alice is survived by her son and his wife, Kenneth T. "Ken" and Tracy Lynn Baker, Newcomerstown; four daughters, Slonia T. and husband, Terry Page, Coshocton, Terrie J. Scherer and her partner, Chad Mathews, Zolfo Springs, Florida, Mary Beth Endsley, Coshocton, and Michelle Lynn Haythorn, Newcomerstown. Alice also leaves an aopted daughter and her husband, Becky L. and Mike Everhart, Newcomerstown; also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; a brother; and her former husband, William "Bill" Grieb, Newcomerstown.
To honor Alice's requests, her remains are to be cremated. Memorial services to celebrate Alice's life will be held on Wednesday evening, 7:00 PM, in the Ourant Funeral Home. Pastor Roger Roger W. McCreery will officiate. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 memorial services.
The family is requesting that memorials or donations be made to the Alice D. Richard family, PO Box 68, Newcomerstown 43832.
