David Patterson Obituary
WEST LAFAYETTE: David Patterson, 75, of West Lafayette, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Riverside Manor.
He was born Friday, June 21, 1940 in Newcomerstown to the late Daniel and Buelah (Pierce) Patterson. He was a file maker at Simonds Tool. He also spent time in the US Air force between WW II and Korea. He was a past member of Lone Star Masonic Lodge #175 of Newcomerstown. He married Edna (Green) Patterson on Thursday, December 10, 1964, who survives.
David is survived by his children, Teresa (Ken) Parks of Columbus and Roy (Michelle) Patterson of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Justin Parks, Ashley (Travis) Regula, Kory (Allison) Parks, Chelsea Patterson, and Kyle Patterson; great-grandchildren, Haven Parks; Sister, Martha Tilton of Newcomerstown and daughter-in-law, Christy Patterson.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Patterson; brothers, Raymond "Jiggs", Robert, Jim; and nephew Dan Froelich; sisters, Ruth Medley, June Miller, Carol Silverthorne, Barbara Bricker, and Karen Patterson.
Services will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Addy Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Silverthorne officiating. Burial will take place at West Lawn Cemetery where the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military services. The Visitation will occur from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Addy Funeral Home.

I am very sorry for you loss. I remember him as a very kind person and enjoyed working for him at the Starlight Drive-Inn. We played basketball in his driveway all of the time and he always welcome us. I wish the family the best through this hard time.
