Kevin Wright Obituary

Kevin Wright

Coshocton - Kevin W. Wright, 55, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare Center. Kevin was born September 30, 1962 to the late Lyman and Janet (Layland) Wright.

Kevin was a 1980 graduate of River View High School. He was a machinist by trade and employed by McWane Ductile. Kevin had a great passion for all outdoors and nature, and was most happy at home surrounded by woods on his tractor, kayaking the Kokosing River, or boating Salt Fork Lake or Lake Erie with his family. He was an avid fisherman, skilled craftsman, a Cleveland Browns fan, and could spot an eagle from a mile away which always left him in awe. He loved going to Kenny Chesney concerts with his wife and sons, and watching the sunrise on Sunday mornings listening to Bluegrass music. He loved his wife and children deeply and they him. He was most proud of his two boys, and frequently said I love our life, and never took it for granted. Kevin always had a smile, positive attitude, and was beloved by many. Anyone who had the opportunity to know him was better for it.

On August 6, 1983 he married Pam (Brindley) Wright, and they were to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary this year. He is survived by sons Brandon (Lauren) Wright, and Kirby (Tonya LaBelle) Wright. He is also survived by Aunt Betty Zimmerman, Father and Mother-in-law Richard and Barbara Brindley, and his beloved dog Riley. He was also loved by extended family. In addition to his parents Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and brother-in-law Jeff Brindley.

Kevin was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church. He was also a registered organ donor and was able to help 15 patients through organ and tissue donation.

A memorial service will be held at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday, February, 11th, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorial donations may be made to The National Wildlife Federation; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
