1. Dunnigan Obituary

Donna Jill Dunnigan, born on August 14, 1945, passed away from a gallant fight against Cancer on June 3, 2025, in Willis, TX. A renowned math teacher at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, she dedicated her career to educating and tutoring young minds with a passion that was mirrored in her love for their success and puzzles, particularly Sudoku.

A graduate of LaPorte High School in Texas and Arizona State University, Jill's commitment to education extended beyond the classroom. She was deeply involved in hobbies that included math, crosswords, cooking for those she loved and Basset Hound rescue, reflecting her nurturing and intellectual nature.

Jill was a beloved figure not only in her professional life but also within her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Colin Michael Dunnigan, and her children, Lysa Fulbright, Gina Harrison, Chris Beggerly, Christopher Dunnigan, Colin Dunnigan, Nancy Hurlbert, and Jonathan Dunnigan. Her legacy also lives on through her grandchildren Matthew, Joshua, Andrew, Axel, Lily, Cameron, Stephanie, Greta, and Edith. Jill also shared a special bond with her dog, Annie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Vera Cooper and James Mann, her brother Leslie Mann, and her cherished dogs Sadie, Conley, Townes, and Corky.

While Jill's family has chosen not to hold services, they invite those who wish to honor her memory to make charitable donations in her name to a cause of their choice. This gesture reflects Jill's generous spirit and commitment to the welfare of others.
