Andy Storms, 72, passed away on May 28, 2013 in Conroe, TX. He was born August 19, 1940 in Elmira, New York to Rosalie Roe and Andrew Storms. Preceded in death by his brothers Gerald and Charles, and sister Catherine. Andy was a well-known builder in NY City, and was the lead contractor for Electric Lady Studios built for Jimmy Hendrix in 1970. Another project in NY City he was proud of was building Adam's Apple Discotheque on the upper east side with suspended dance floors. The club remained open until the late 1990's. That idea was so unique that one was built in Houston in the early 1970's. He moved to Texas in 1976, but also lived in California and Florida as well. He is survived by sister Eileen Storms, former wife Alison Storms and their daughter Meridith Storms, his loving wife Martha Storms of 20 years, her children, their grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
