Barbara Ann Planka Plaster was born May 17, 1943 in Angleton, Texas to Alfred John and Annie Stasie Surovik Planka and passed away May 29, 2017 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 74. Barbara Ann loved life, especially watching her favorite team the Dallas Cowboys, she enjoyed gardening, embroidery work, and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband and soul mate, George "Bobby" Plaster. Barbara Ann is survived by her children: Robert and JoAnn Plaster of Bandera, Texas, Nancy Plaster of Willis, Texas, Susan Blythe of Shepherd, Texas and Mack and Melissa Plaster of Conroe, Texas; She was a Mammaw to many grandchildren: Starla & K.C., Robert Jr., Sarah & Freddie, Johnathan & Julie, Billy & Tiffany, Kristina, Michael, Joseph & Shannon, Marle & Taylor, Mary Jean & Anthony, Kandice, Holly & Johnny, Jason & Rose, TeJay & Melanie, Crystal & Wesley, Evan & Samantha, and Jake, and numerous beloved great grandchildren; She leaves behind her loving sister, Linda Planka and nephew, Mike Planka of Pasadena, Texas; sisters-in-law: Tommie Emmite, Linda Jordan and Cathrin Plaster; brother-in-law, Richard Risch and numerous other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1pm in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Larry Koslovsky officiating. I will always remember you Aunt Barbara & of course Uncle Bobby. You were the sweetest, I know that you & Uncle Bobby are together in Heaven. I'm sure you & my mom "Shirley" have a lot to catch up on. My mom always love talking to you. I'm sure my dad "Kenneth" is right there as well. May you Rest in Heaven with our other family. Our Angels will always be looking over us.
