Tyler Ray Plaster, 16, of Springfield, MO passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born April 6, 2009 in Springfield, the son of Timothy Michael Plaster and Denise M. Betten. Tyler was a student at Parkview High School.

He is survived by his mother, Denise Betten of Branson, MO and father, Tim Plaster of Springfield, MO; sisters, Chelsea Betten of Branson and Alyssa Betten of Rogersville, MO; brother, Christopher Griffith of Nixa, MO; grandparents, Ron (Robin) Betten of Springfield, Kim Pettipiece of Branson, Donna Mehrhoff and Debbie Baggett, both of Fenton, MO, and Ed (Jo) Plaster of Springfield; aunts, Dawn Garcia of California, Christine (Ryan) Kuntz of St. James, and Julia Plaster of Fenton; uncles, Troy Baggett (Mark Forsyth) of St. Louis, MO, and David (Inna) Plaster of Ukraine; aunt and uncle, Dana (Wes) Davis of Lee's Summit, MO; and great-aunt, Darleen Meyer of High Ridge, MO. Also surviving are nephews, Jacob Woods of Fremont, NE, Triton Griffith and Roman Peppers, both of Branson; nieces, Camille Thompson of Branson and Raelynn Brooks of Rogersville; and cousins, Faith and Alex Davis, both of Springfield, Cameron (Abigail) Cockrum and their children Kane, Maddox, and Every Leigh of Osage Beach, MO, Autumn Cockrum and her son Derek of St. James.

Tyler was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Bill and Darlene Ellis and Vince and Virginia Plaster; his great-aunt, Susan Chandler; and uncle, David Paul Betten.

Tyler's funeral will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2025 in The Courageous Church, 4900 South Farm Road 189, Rogersville, with Pastor Corban Arredondo officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A candlelight vigil will follow in the parking lot of the church, beginning approximately at 6:15 p.m.
