Billy Glenn Smith, age 63, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Conroe, Texas.

Born on January 22, 1962, in Houston, Texas, Billy was a deeply loved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be remembered for his quick wit, generous heart, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.

Billy proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1985. Throughout his life, he called Texas and Florida home, where he built lasting friendships and cherished memories with those he loved most.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Denise Smith; his daughters Brittnee Smith and Chyrle Lynn Smith (Mac Jeffries); and his grandchildren Georgia Jeffries and Felix Jeffries. He is also survived by his parents Bernice and Floyd Pumphrey; his sister Donna Davis (Jeff) and their son B.J. McDaniel (Brittany); his brothers Jimmy Smith (Sonja) and their daughter Reese Smith, and Timmy Smith (Aleah) and their children Carley Smith, Branton Smith, and Brynlee Smith. Billy also leaves behind his loyal canine companion, Piper.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Adam Cheney.

A visitation for Billy will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, with an additional visitation on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

Billy's life will be remembered with love, laughter, and gratitude by all who were blessed to know him.
