Daryl was like a son to me and adored by my son Camden. We golfed together and enjoyed lessons given by Daryl. He was employed briefly by me so we got to relly appreciate his wit and wisdom. Still miss him!!!!

Daryl was and always will be known as The Truth. That nickname fits him perfectly. From his golf swing to the way he lived - he was true. He was a true and loving husband, father and friend. He was the type of friend that you could talk to about anything. He always wanted to help others. I cherish the conversations and visits we had about our faith, raising children, a low carb lifestyle, coaching baseball, our families, work and just trying to figure life out. He will always love Tara, Reese, Cade and Meg the way a good husband and father is called to love. He was so proud of his family and always talked about the great things they were doing. Through all the ups and downs of life he was always positive and encouraging to me and countless others. I wrote a couple of weeks ago, that Coach Ferrell was the type of person that you would want to raise your children. I can say the same thing about Daryl. That is the highest compliment I can give somebody. Daryl was and is a great dude.
Hit 'em good today,
Love & miss you brother
