Floyd Hogan Obituary

Floyd Harold Hogan Jr Harold of Conroe, Texas went to be with the Lord on the evening of August 30, 2021, at the age of 73. His funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Northside Baptist Church in Conroe with Pastor Wes Pratt officiating. Military Funeral Honors will be held at the Houston National Cemetery at 3pm.

Harold was born on April 18, 1948 in Center, Texas to the late Floyd and Yvonne Hogan. He was the oldest of 2 children. Harold graduated from Conroe High School with the Class of 1968.

Harold was a faithful patriot that devoted his life to our country, serving in multiple branches of the military. He began his military career as a member of the Marine Corps where he fought in the Vietnam War. When he retired, he was serving as a recruiter in the Navy.

After Harold retired he began his role of Santa Hogan where he spent every holiday season bringing joy to everyone he met.

Harold leaves to cherish his loving memory, his devoted wife of 30 years, Marilyn Hogan; his aunt Sue Sage; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Dana and Tate Robinson; stepson, Kevin Grimes; foster daughter, Angie Reed; his grandchildren, Blake Casey, Kyle, Katelyn, Colby and Chase Grimes and Mackenzie Essner; his cousin, Julie Burson; his family members, Reid, Steven, Stacy, Kate, Natalie and Nicholas Hogan; and a host of other family and friends.
