Kenneth Gerald Pichotta of Conroe, Texas went home to be with our Lord on October9, 2012. Kenneth was born on August 29, 1937 in Boyriver, Minnesota. He moved to Texas in 1946. He was the owner of Kenneth Pichotta and Sons Roofing in Conroe for 32 years. Kenneth spent his last days surrounded by family and loved ones with support at Odyssey House Hospice in Conroe, TX. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the happiest when he was with his family hunting or fishing. He was an extremely giving person and felt honored to teach others what he knew. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Alice Pichotta, Mary Pichotta; sisters, Winifred Davey and June Kurz; brother, Pete Pichotta and grandson Jason Sturm. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Bernice Faye Pichotta; his sons, Phillip Pichotta and wife Pamela of Conroe, Michael Pichotta of Conroe, Larry Pichotta and wife Karen of Trinity; his daughter Linda Lee and husband Bruce of Conroe. He left behind several grandchildren; Kenneth Pichotta and wife Tricia, Jessica Giutta and husband Logan, Samantha Dorsey, Katie Pichotta, Kolby Pichotta and wife Brittany, Kodey Pichotta, Cherie' Guy, Eric Pichotta, Holly Lilley and husband Greg, Luke Pichotta, Adrienne Sturm, and Amy Simon; great grandchildren, Kasey Pichotta, Kason Pichotta, Gabriel Giutta, Lilly Giutta, Trever Pichotta, Kyler Merchant, Samantha Chapman, Kaycee Hickman, Elizabeth Lilley, Gregory Lilley Jr, Charlette Mills, Kailey Simon and Caden Simon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers honoring Kenneth are, Phillip Pichotta, Michael Pichotta, Larry Pichotta, Kenneth Ray Pichotta, Kolby Pichotta, Eric Pichotta, Kodey Pichotta and Luke Pichotta. The service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10am in Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5-8pm at Cashner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Odyssey House Hospice c/o Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 7801 Mesquite Bend Drive, Suite 105, Irving, TX 75063.
