Robert Elias B. Kindy

1940 - 2025

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Elias B Kindy, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, who left us peacefully on February 22, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on September 1, 1940, Robert's life was a testament to his unwavering love for his family, his deep faith and his devotion to his country.

Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force and later became the owner of Montgomery County Music Center, where his love for music was shared with the community. He not only taught others about the beauty of music, but he also fostered lasting friendships and made an impact that will never be forgotten.

As a man of profound faith, Robert's life was centered on his love for God, his family and his country. He was a proud Grand Master Mason, a dedicated member of the Shriners organization, and the Scottish Rite. His life was marked by generosity, kindness and a selflessness that touched everyone who knew him.

Robert's greatest joy in life was his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Patti J. Kindy, who was the love of his life; his devoted daughter, Robin Armstrong and her husband Richard; grandsons Allen and Ryan; daughter Revonda Royer and her husband Ken; granddaughters Jenni Tadlock, Kelly Duhon, Devin Royer and Corey Scott; daughter Sandra Mamo and her husband Stephen; granddaughters Heather Naugle, Stephanie Franchi and Rachel Mamo, and grandson Stephen Mamo Jr.; his son Craig Gibbs and his wife, Jennifer and granddaughters Shelby Wright and Landry Parrack; as well as many great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Karen Kay, who he missed dearly; his father, William H. Kindy; his mother, Pearl Treadway Kindy; his brothers Lloyd Kindy, James Kindy and Johnny Kindy; and his sisters Polly Deaton, Marie Griffis, Ola Faye Faulkner and Edna Yarberry Beck.

The legacy Robert leaves behind is one of love, dedication and deep faith. He will be remembered as a man who always put others first, whose laughter and kindness filled any room and whose devotion to his family was unwavering. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas, on Thursday, February 27, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will take place on Friday, February 28, at Johnson Cemetery in Stephenville, Texas, at 2:00 PM.
