Steven Glasser Obituary

Steven Brent Glasser 06/04/1953 - 10/05/2025. It is with deep sadness that his family announces his recent passing. Steve is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Gayle Glasser, and his daughter, Jennifer. He was preceded in death by father Murray Glasser and mother Betty Miller. Born and raised in Houston, TX, he was a graduate of Bellaire H.S. He attended UT Austin, and UH.

Steve enjoyed a long career in the automotive industry. He had a great sense of humor and a large circle of friends. He was a collector of classic cars, liked riding his Harley, and enjoyed antiquing with his wife. A "foodie", Steve liked trying new and old restaurants, and was a 30+ year patron of Royers Round Top Cafe. He was an animal lover and had many pets over the years. He will be missed.

It was Steve's wish that no funeral or memorial service be held. Cremation has taken place at his request, and his family invites you to celebrate his memory by spending time with your loved ones. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association and your local favorite animal rescue.

I met Glasser when we were 9 years old. We went to the same elementary and junior high. We worked together at Rice Food Market for 4 years. We have been in constant contact with each other since the day we met. So many good times...we never had a bad one...so many laughs and alittle bit of crying due to tragedies regarding our families. He was truly a Brother from a different Mother. There is a void now in my life...I miss him. To his family my condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about Steve´s passing. I´ve known Steve for many years and had the privilege of doing sign work for him when he managed different dealerships around the Houston area. Steve was a great person and knew the car business like no other. I just recently bought a certified car and got plenty of great advice from Steve before finalizing the deal. He was always there for people and would never say no. That´s the kind of person he was. We recently had lunch together and we´re supposed to meet for brunch this week as the treat was on me for all the time he spent helping me. May the memory of Steve be a blessing to all. RIP my friend

Steve Glasser, what a great man I enjoyed the conversations that we had over the years about the car business. I remember us talking about how the car business has changed so much in over the years and how people forget what you´ve done for them in the past, I will always remember Our conversations
