Bob T. Biggers, Sr., age 82, of Russellville, formerly of Crossett, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, at St. Mary Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Hampton. He was a retired shift supervisor for Georgia-Pacific in Crossett, and an Army veteran.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, William Angus Biggers and Lillian Thornton Biggers; wife, Linda Grant Biggers; infant son, Timothy Shaun Biggers; one brother, W.A. Biggers; and two sisters, Betty Jo Thompson and Mary Ruth Harrison.
He is survived by one son, Bobby (Tricia) Biggers of Russellville; one daughter, Valarie (Glen) Hodge of Monroe, La.; one sister, Marty (Bill) Green of Merriam, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Laura Taylor (David) Wright of Monroe, La., Lana Hodge (Nathan) Weant of Lubbock, Texas, Allison Biggers of Russellville, Leah (Jay) Trusty of Russellville, Jenna Biggers, Lilly Biggers, Grant Biggers, of Russellville; two great-grandchildren, Kate Austyn Trusty of Russellville, and John Thomas Wright of Monroe, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Means Cemetery near Hampton. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Drew Cox officiating.
