Dawn Renee Haught, age 59, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
She was born on February 22, 1966, in Riverside, California, to Elmer Philpot and the late Margie Hoover Duncan. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Dawn worked as a Shipping Clerk for UPS, but her greatest accomplishments were found in the love she poured into her roles as a mother, nana, and great-nana.
Dawn had a vibrant and adventurous spirit. She enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, singing along to classic rock, and dancing freely in the rain. Her heart was happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren. She cherished times spent on Norfork Lake in Mountain Home. Dawn was resilient in her courageous battle with her health.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Duncan, and her beloved daughter, Donna Marie Haught.
Dawn leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her father, Elmer Philpot (Bessie) of Pottsville; her siblings, Rodney Bridgeman, Johnny Philpot, and Janet Beavers (Gene), Randi Philpot, Christy Parker; her children, Jamie Adame, Katrina Howard (Jackie), and Ernie Haught III; and nine grandchildren: Alyssa Peterson (Hons), Ethan Adame, Isaac Adame, Cain Adame, Payton Howard, Kadra Letson (Ethan), Jax Howard, Emery Howard, and Reese Howard. She was also the proud great-nana to three great-grandchildren: Hansen, Hudson, and Gracie.
A private committal service will be held at the new Chapel of Light at the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center, directed by Humphrey Funeral Service.
