Rev. H.W. Condley, 85, of Hector, passed from this life to his eternal home Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023. He was born Feb. 28, 1937, in Parkdale, son of the late Arvel and Ruth Craig Condley.
He was a retired Assembly of God minister, having pastored three churches, Casa Assembly of God, Rehobeth Assembly of God, and Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. He was also retired from Conagra after 33 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Condley and Jimmy Don Condley; sisters, Edna Latham and infant sister, Evelyn Condley; brothers-in-law, George Latham, and Jimmy Lee Chronister.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gemima Henderson Condley; son, Ed Condley (Lola); daughter, Becky Hubbard (Billy); grandsons, Blake Condley (Tess), and Shawn Heflin; granddaughters, Olivia Barenberg (Kevin), Samantha Walters (Jon), great-grandchildren, Ayden Massey, Averi Massey, Katie Heflin, Kaleb Barenberg, Weston Massey, Eric Walters, Kyndall Heflin, Kai Condley, Jalynn Berenberg, Brianna Walters, Marley Condley, Destiny Heflin, and Oliver Walters; two sisters, Mary Ann Chronister, and Barbara Taylor and husband Leon; and sister-in-law, Ednita Condley.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at the Hector First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dean Caldwell and Pastor Shannon Pruitt officiating. Burial is in Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m., Friday, at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
