Jonathan Elmore Obituary

Jonathan Elmore, age 29, of Dover, died Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

He was born June 4, 1993, in Russellville, to Timothy Arlin Elmore and Kathy Jo McAlister Elmore.

He was a member of Dover First Assembly. He enjoyed being in nature while fishing and learning about and working on guns. Jon especially loved spending time with his family and his pets.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arlin B. Elmore; his mother, Kathy Elmore; and his maternal grandparents, Bill, and Ruby McAlister.

He is survived by his wife, Shaley Elmore; his father and fiancé, Tim Elmore and Rhonda Jacobs; a brother, Casey Elmore; a sister and brother-in-law, Lasey and John White; two grandmothers, Ernestine Elmore and Mary McAlister; along with other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Dover First Assembly with the Rev. Aaron Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m., on Monday, at the funeral home.
