Lloyd Rackley Obituary

Lloyd Rackley, 84, of Hector, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his home. He was born May 18, 1941, in Nogo, son of the late James Lois and Fannie Melissa McCuin Rackley.

He was a machinist and retired from International Paper after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sara Dell Reeves Rackley; son, Jay Edward Rackley; and a sister, Virginia Faye Turner.

He is survived by his daughters, JaNell Burch (Steve), and JaNiece Hall (Robert), both of Clarksville; brother, Darrell Rackley (Reta); sister, Oleta Standridge; grandchildren, Casey Burch (Charlotte) and Cody Burch; great-grandchild, Ali Burch; and special friend, Doris Peugh.

Visitation held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, at Hector Free Will Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Terry Latham and Bro. Jerry Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Nogo Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
