Andrew Bryen Obituary
AGE: 86 • Cherry Hill, NJ
Passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday evening, September 21, 2014. He was born in Camden, NJ and predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Goldfield Bryen. "Angie," to those who knew him best, was a successful business executive, co-owner of William Bryen Wholesale Meat Co., founded with his brother in 1946, and the Hideaway Restaurant, which he ran with Gloria. Under their leadership, the Hideaway was a regular "Best of Philly" winner.
Andy was Father of Marsha (John) Biguenet, Bradford (Lillie) Bryen, Liz (Bennett) Greene and Stefani (Richard) Kasdin; Grandfather of Nicole (Anders), Jonny, Jordan, Chloe, Rachel, Zachary, Eliza, Nina and Julian; Great Grandfather of Isabella and Amelie.
The funeral and shiva will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, P.O. Box 7646, Phila. PA 19101.
