Antoinette Metzger Obituary
AGE: 100 • Berlin
Antoinette L. Metzger (nee Williams), finally got her wings on August 16, 2015, at Virtua Health & Rehab. Center, Berlin, she was 100 years young.
Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Metzger. The youngest of 7 children she was predeceased by her brothers James, Paul, Tony, Charles and Harry and her sister Philomena. She is survived by nephews Paul Williams , Richard Williams , Tony Williams , Michael Williams her special friend Bobby Huster and her sister-in-law Alice Williams.
Antoinette was a member of Mt. Carmel Church and it's Altar & Rosary Society for over 60 years. She was also a friend of the Marie Fleche Library of Berlin for over 40 years. Antoinette lost her husband Bob in 1969, even though they had no children her nieces and nephews filled the void. She was affectionately known to them as "Aunt Bushy Bot". She was hard working, easy going and would lend a hand wherever needed from working bingo at the church to making hoagies for the lunch program at OLMC School.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday (8/21/15) 9:15 to 10:45 AM at St. Simon Stock Parish/ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike at Franklin Ave, Berlin., where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cem. Berlin. Antoinette's family requested in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to OLMC Altar & Rosary Society, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
