Even 10+ years since Aunt Carmela was "Called Home"... we continue to have memories and tell a story here and there in our reminiscing. I know her soul has reason to smile if she sees the state of affairs in the family.

Aunt Carmela was such a sweetheart! Her face would just light up when she greeted you...and when she took your face in her hands for those "famous kisses", you knew you were loved! I'll always remember parties in her backyard, and her pointy high heeled shoes! As a little kid, I loved her shoes. I always wanted to try them on...I thought they were so glamorous! Aunt Carmela will always have a special place in my heart.

My Aunt Carmela was the most special aunt anyone could have. I will always cherish my sister Diane and my visits to her and Uncle Mario's house in Drexel Hill. It was our second home. It was always a special time to visit them. to go to the stores after dinner and close the store down with the management basically kicking us our. Or the way she would call Uncle Mario to get up in the morning. I will never forget how special she always made me feel or her special kisses that just told you how much she loved you. No party or get together will ever be the same without her. No party ever really started until she arrived. I will miss her and will love her always.

Aunt Carmela was one of a kind! How blessed we all were to have an aunt Carmela. No other aunt possessed the continuace happy, loving and inspiring attributes that did. She was aways truly happy to see you and chat. She began and/or ended every encounter with "I love you" and she really did! And how about that little black book of hers (of birthdays)... how special did you feel when you got her B day card every year? So just think, the memory of Aunt Carmella will live on for a long time, and for me, particulaly on my B day every year when I miss her card.

May the family be blessed with peace and love of one another going forward. Aunt Carmela is now blessed with eternal peace and happiness and I know that she will now spread love & happiness to the other souls.

Dear Angelo, Patti and Carol
My prayers are with You all and with Your families. I have many fond memories of Aunt Carmela, the most memorable being the time I stayed at Your house in Drexel Hill while My Mom was in the hospital. I can still hear Her infectious laugh.
