Charles "Chaz" Laspata

AGE: 88 • Williamstown

on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 88 years. Born in Glassboro, Chaz lived in Williamstown for 65 years. Chaz was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He was a member of the Laborer's Local Union #172 and the St. Anthony Italian Society in Glassboro. Chaz was an avid bowler and farmer. Chaz enjoyed trips to the Casinos, playing Bocce Ball and Shuffle Board.

Beloved husband of the late Mary R. (nee Flynn). Devoted father of Carmen "Buzz" (Celeste) Laspata, Susan (Jack) Hoffman and Thomas (Joy) Laspata. Dear brother of Mary Gambino, Grace LiVecchi, Anne Lipka, Samuel Laspata, the late Rocco Laspata, the late Chink Laspata and the late Frank Laspata. Loving grandfather of John (Christine) Laspata, the late Dominic Laspata, Casie (Michael) Williams, Lindsay Laspata and Jimmy Hoffman. Loving great grandfather of Olivia and Jacqueline Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to Chaz's viewings on Monday 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00 AM at St. Mary's RC Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 800 Jessup Rd # 807, West Deptford, NJ 08086. Arrangements are under the direction of the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, Williamstown. Condolences and memories may be shared online @ www.bell-hennessy.com.
