February 17, 2012. Husband of Lila (nee Jaffee) Flinker. Father of Sharon (William) Lear, Jacqueline (James Wallenberg) Flinker, Jonathan Flinker and the late Karen (Alexis) Genest. Grandfather of Anna Lear, Karina and Joshua Wallenberg.

where funeral services will begin promptly at noon. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. The family will return to the late residence and respectfully requests contributions in his memory be made to the Dr. Flinker Fund for Memorial Hospital, c/o Virtua Foundation, 401 Rt. 73 North, 50 Lake Center, Suite 301, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Feb 4, 2013 - I am a family doctor serving in China. I did my family medicine training in Memorial Hospital of Burlington County....I am currently training family medicine residents here in China. This past Saturday, a resident was discussing one of the cases she was involved with. For some reason, instead of consulting the internet sources as usual, I pulled out my little black book of notes from med school and residency. There in the title was the note: Dr. Flinker 11-19-92 at the top of an excellent review of thrombocytopenia. I shared the notes with the resident and began thinking of how funny that so many years later I would be passing this on. I wanted to contact Dr. Flinker and thank him for training me! As I googled his name I came across this obituary and thought that it would be fitting to sign in and let his family know that his legacy does indeed live on.
