Obituary

David L. Newman, loving husband and father, 67, of Cape Coral passed away Saturday February 24, 2007. He was born May 12, 1939 in Buena Vista, Oh to Hugh E. and Gayla (Moore) Newman. David married Joyce Stanley in 1960 and settled in Springfield, OH. He moved to Lee County in 1975. David retired in 2004 from Munters Corporation.

He leaves his beloved wife Joyce Kay, Two sons Douglas and Joe (wife Verritt) all of Cape Coral, two loving grandchildren Brittany of Cape Coral and Joe of Lehigh Acres, three sisters; Betty, Lake City, Fl, Janice, Palatka, Fl and Helen, Springfield, OH, two brothers Harvey and family of Lake Okeechobee, Fl and Fred and family of Springfield, OH, also surviving are several nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10am Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Metz Chapel of Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice.
