Edward Detweiler Keiper Jr.

On July 4 2004 age 86 of Moorestown NJ.
Ed started his career at Mobil Oil at their refinery in Paulsboro in 1940 and became manager of the East Chicago refinery in 1964 until 1967 when he became the manager of the refinery in Augusta KS. In 1971 Ed went to work as the Assistant Refinery Manager at the Beaumont TX refinery until his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Keiper graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with highest honors with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
He was the Captain of the Baseball team and was a member of the University Orchestra. Ed is an elder of the First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Greenleaf Board of Managers in Moorestown for many years. Ed was a member of the Y's Men's Club of Moorestown and the Moorestown Field Club.
Husband of Betty (nee Haines). Father of Edward Haines Keiper of Moorestown and Dr. John Keiper of Richmond VA; three grandsons.
Funeral service Thursday 11am July 8 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church 101 Bri- dgeboro Rd. Moorestown NJ.
