The McCarty family is saddened to hear of the passing of Frank Dougherty. Some of my first memories were of listening to my grandfather and Frank talking about their experiences in the war, specifically on the Underhill - together until the end. I always called him Uncle Frank, despite the lack of actual blood relations. We spent many Christmases and other holidays with Frank and Aunt Margarite. They are both going to be missed, but always remembered.

GERRY, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He and your Mom were great friends of my Mom and Dad for so many years. Now they are all together again in the arms of God.
