Gary Peck Obituary
AGE: 70 • Egg Harbor
formerly of Delran
On August 31, 2017, age 70, of Egg Harbor Twp. formerly of Delran, NJ for over 25 years. He was the beloved father of Dawn (Michael) Pecora and loving grandfather of Michael Pecora, Jr. and Dominic Pecora. He is also survived by his sister Audrey (Carl) Howard; his former wife Elaine Peck and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Ruth (nee Willard) Peck; his sister and brother-in-law Jean and Hap Reich and his first wife Anne Peck. Gary worked as a mechanic for several years and was also a US Army veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Gary's life with his family on Saturday September 9, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Fontana's Café 30 E. Main Street Maple Shade, NJ. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Deborah Hospital 200 Trenton Road Browns Mills, NJ 08015.

My special brother: Seems just like it was yesterday we were just kids growing up , you watched out for me ,had family parties with our parents ,being a great dancer at the lake pavilion our family summer home . Watching your marriage to Anne (great sister in law) with your sharing that special moment of your children (Dawn and Paul) giving your military time to our country . We have known Gary for about 30 years. He has been a wonderful friend and a great person. He was always good for a laugh and at the ready for a joke even when he was not feeling very well. He was also a proud father and grandfather.
Dawn, we are so saddened by your loss. We will miss him dearly.

My sincere condolences to Gary's family and all who love him. I have fond memories of Gary growing up as a young girl in Pennsauken as Gary was one of my older sister's friends and spent quite a bit of time coming by our home. I also worked with Elaine many years ago. May you be comforted by memories of good times shared to ease the pain in your hearts in the days ahead.

We are so sorry to learn of Gary's passing. It was too soon; the world has lost one of the good guys. Gary always had a smile and a joke ready, even when he was sick and facing difficult times. He will be missed.

Although I can't be with you while you remember your loved one, you're in my thoughts from afar. Gary was my close friend from age 4 thru high school. He has left us with many good memories.
