Gary Snyder Obituary

Suddenly on June 30 2003 age 70 of Pennsauken.
Surviving are his beloved wife Joan (nee Levering) two sons David and his wife Margaret of Pennsauken G. Bruce and Carol Peirson of Collingswood two daughters Linda & husband John Asta of Audubon and Sharon and husband Eliope Paz of Cudjoe Key FL five grandchildren Jason and Lauren Snyder Daniel and David Paz and Sara Peirson.
Mr. Snyder was graduate of Merchantville High School 1950 in the U.S. Army 1953 to 1955 graduate of Rutgers University 1963 General Manager of the Courier Post from 1955 to 1975 vice president of Night Operations for The Inquirer from 1975 to 1990. He was member of Ionic Lodge #94 F&AM Excelsion Consistory Scottish Rite of Southern N.J. Crescent Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Burlington Camden County Shrine Club VFW Post 1400 American Legion of Cherry Hill and Pennsauken Lions Club.
Relatives and friends will call for viewing from 7 to 9PM Wed. evening at THE EICHEL FUNERAL HOME 8323 Maple Ave. Pennsauken NJ. Masonic Service 8pm. Funeral Services will be held 10AM Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church Main & Poplar Sts Maple Shade NJ. (Friends will meet at the church 10AM). Interment Locustwood Memorial Park Cherry Hill.
Contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church at the above address.
