Harry Gindele Obituary
Beach Haven - Harry passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 7, 2019. Of Beach Haven, NJ, formerly of Bellmawr, NJ. Age 76 years. He is survived by his former wife, Mary Salpas. Dear father of Stephanie (Protus Mayunga) Gindele, Matthew Gindele and Bonnie Gindele. Loving grandfather of Elijah, Achaia, Protus Jr., Erastus, Sabina, Lilly, Carlee, Nola and Evie. Brother of Kathleen and the late Joseph.
Harry was a 1961 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was the longtime owner of M.B. Sutcliffe Corporation, Philadelphia, PA. Harry was dedicated to his children and grandchildren and was known for his sense of humor. His passions included the beach, fishing, skiing, traveling and being an avid sports critic. Harry demonstrated an amazing will to live in his final years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, March 15, 9 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Prayer service will follow at 11 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harry's memory to David's Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation, 364 N. Main St., Suite 10D, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. To share memories and condolences please visit www.fosterwarnefuneralhome.com.

Harry had a kind heart.
On hot days he would treat me to water ice.
I can still hear him solving the city's problems from the lunchroom. He brought in the City Paper every day and made sure he was updated on all subjects. He had a wealth of knowledge.
He is missed.

Harry was a great man! I will always remember his explosive personality and huge heart. Working with him at Sutcliffe was filled with good memories and as I look back on them I can only smile! Keep calm and rest in peace Harry!

Harry and I have been good friends since first or second grade until last week.
We played sports, lived at 19th and Cheltenham in our teen years, we were both weathermen in same outfit in the service ,razed our families , vacationed , skied Europe and Vermont together.
Spent many memorable summers at our shore houses in our twenties .
After the families grew we would still go skiing a weekend a year.
I was a builder and Harry sold building supplies. We talked shop often.
For the last seventeen years I lived across the bay from his house in Beach Haven. We both spent as much time on the water as possible. We communicated often about wind and tides. He was a much better fisherman than me, and he could brag about all the fish he caught ,me not so much
occasionally we would meet at one of the sand bars in the bay and let the grand kids play.
Lately we would text one another a few times a week.
We lead parallel lives in many respects, we had so much in common.
We grew old together
He suffered a lot in the end and I hope to God he is in a better place now
See you latter Harry, I' sure we will meet again. We always do!
