Charlie, Karen, Fred and family...I am grief-stricken by Jean's death! I was so lucky to be part of Jean's and your lives for the past 30 years! It's incredible that a chance meeting in the locker room of the Y would result in a life-long friendship. I am so grateful for her counsel and support during difficult times. She was so dear to me, and she helped me find a more positive spin on life because she was always so positive; someone who always saw the silver lining and helped me find it, too. I have so many wonderful memories of trips to the shore, sometimes with Heather, (Jean's little yellow Volkswagon was like a transporter away from stress) and trips to the mall, sometimes with Matthew and my mother (which usually included dinner at Friendly's.) I will always remember her love of color, especially bright turquoise and hot pink. She is forever a piece of me and will live forever in my heart! My mother, Matthew and I all send our sincerest wishes that your good memories will comfort you and bring you peace.
