Joan R. (née Bell) Dombrowski of Voorhees, passed suddenly on May 21, 2017 at age 67. She was born in Camden, NJ to the late Michael F. Bell, Sr. and Joan (née Peterra) Bell. She is the beloved wife of Dr. H. Timothy Dombrowski, and they lived in Voorhees for 30 years. Joan was an exceptionally loving and caring woman. She graduated from Good Counsel College with a B.S. in Education in 1971 and from the University of Pennsylvania with a M. Ed. in 1972. She was a primary school teacher in the Cherry Hill School District from 1973-1981 and was always devoted to her young students. She loved to sew, paint, cook and bake and was frequently asked to contribute one of her culinary specialties at family celebrations and holiday gatherings.

Loving mother of Diana Prevett (Jeffrey) of Annapolis, Maryland and Daniel Dombrowski of Voorhees. Dear daughter of Joan Bell and the late Michael F. Bell, Sr. Sister of Michael F. Bell, Jr. of Voorhees, and the late Janice Bell. Devoted grandmother of Alexander Prevett, Christian Prevett, and Brody Henry. Predeceased by her dear aunt, and friend, Rosera DiPiero. Also loved by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Joan and Tim have been active members of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church for 40 years where Joan taught religious education and frequently cooked and baked for special occasions.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 27 Kresson -Gibbsboro Road, Gibbsboro, NJ 08026. Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ .

The family requests donations in Joan's memory be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research, 1415 NJ Route 70, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
