Kenneth Kohut Obituary
AGE: 67 • Ocean City
Kenneth G. Kohout, 67, of Ocean City, NJ., passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in Shore Medical Center, Somers Point, NJ. Born in Camden, NJ., he had lived in Stratford, NJ., and had spent many years in North and South Carolina before returning to Ocean City.
He was a graduate of Tusculum College in Greenville, TN.
Ken had worked in the food industry for many years and most recently had owned a restaurant in Greenville, SC. Ken was an active member of the Union Chapel by the Sea where he served as treasurer and music leader. He loved music and was a member a barber shop quartet.
He was predeceased by his parents: Herman H. and Betty (nee Stuebing) Kohout and sister in law Kathleen Kohout. Surviving are three brothers: Edward of Haddon Heights, NJ., Barry (Angie) and Wayne all of Gloucester Township, NJ., and four nieces: Christina, Lauren, Danyelle and Kelly, a nephew: Brian, two grandnieces: Liberty and Cameron and two grandnephews: Ashton, Bailey.
His funeral service will be offered Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from Union Chapel by the Sea, 55th Street at Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ., where friends may call from 10 o'clock until time of service. Burial will be private.
