Leona Imperatore Obituary
AGE: 68 • Egg Harbor City
Leona Imperatore, 68, of Egg Harbor City went home with the Lord on Jan. 8, 2014. Born to Dora (nee Carasso) and George Imperatore on Nov. 19, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA. Leona loved people, music, singing, life and mostly laughter. Her presence lit up the room. She worked as an executive assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources of Atlantic Care Hospital.
She leaves behind her mother, Dora; her sister, Rosalie (Leon) Sarao; her loving nephews, Steven and Lonny and four great grand nieces and nephews, and a host of people who loved her.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00am on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at Green Tree Church, 125 Schoolhouse Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. A service will begin at 11:00 am and an entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Green Tree Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Saraceno Funeral Home of Egg Harbor City, NJ. Online condolences can be sent to www.saracenofuneralhome.com.
