Dennis

I was sorry to hear about your loss. I saw it yesterday in the Church bulliten. Denise and I were saddened by the news. Lori was a very giving woman. I remember you and Lori coordinating the Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets at St Andrews years past and the efforts you both put into it to ensure everyone in need received a basket. I remember seeing Lori again , giving her communion at Virtua this past year. Her faith was strong. We will pray for you both and for your family.

It was such a joy to know you, Lori, during the years that we served together as members of St. Andrew's Parish. We raised our children together and were involved in stewardship within the parish. Your friendship meant so much to me. Your example taught me how to live life as an adult Christian woman. I am blessed for having known you and for having had you as part of my life. In my home there is a a wall hanging which you lettered for me in calligraphy and it is my favorite scripture which begins, "To everything there is a season, a time to be born and a time to die." I shall treasure it always, Lori, as I treasure your friendship. Now it is your season to be in Heaven with the Lord.

She was a special teacher who made everyone feel at home, and brought art to life. It was always a refreshing class in the middle of an ordinary day.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Hunt passing. She was one of the teachers that actually cared about her students. I loved art class with her as my teacher. She never had a cross word for anyone and had a way of making her students feel special. My condolences to her family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Mrs. Hunt inspired me to work hard and create the best projects, even though I had no artistic talent. Rest in peace Mrs. Hunt.

Sometime people wonder how or if they can make a difference in the world. Mrs Hunt did it by teaching art in her local school. I was one of her students who to this day is thankful for the things Mrs. Hunt taught me in her art class. I am no artist, but what I learned in her class was the value of aesthetics. To some degree I do apply what I learned in my everyday work as a plumber. (No one likes a sink that doesn't look good in their house!) Also what I learned from you still guides me today in life. I can appreciate all forms of art whether its paintings, illustrations, photography, music, plays, movies, architecture, sculptures. What I learned from you, Mrs. Hunt has expanded me culturally. THAT is your mark that continues today in me and I have passed that on to my daughter.

Thank you Mrs. Hunt for what you taught me in art class in my 8th grade.
Godspeed!

To family and friends: I'm sure losing a loved one in death can be saddening. But Hopefully we can find comfort in the promise mentioned at (John: 28, 29) where it speaks about a time where we can see our dead lived ones again.

This candle is a symbol of the light that Lori brought to everyone who knew her. Her passing will make all of our lives a little dimmer.

Lori was also responsible for starting the Voorhees Middle School Food Drive for the needy during the holiday season. St. Andrew's church still counts on our school's contributions for their Christmas baskets. Lori was a hard worker and always "gave back" to the community. She also gave freely of her time and heart to anyone in need. She will be missed very much.
