Maryrose Divece Obituary

Age 68 of Riverside passed away on March 9 2005 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Mrs. DiVece was born in Riverside and had been a lifelong resident of the town.
Maryrose worked for 18 years as the secretary for the Superintendent of Schools in Riverside retiring in 2000. Mrs. DiVece also worked as a real estate secretary for a number of years. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Riverside where she was a member of the St. Peter's PTA St. Peter's Review 2000 Altar & Rosary Society the St. Peter's and Riverside Senior Citizens Clubs. Maryrose enjoyed traveling dancing working in her garden and cooking for her family as well as spending her time doing crossword puzzles and word finds.
Maryrose leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 48 years Frank. Her daughter Linda and her husband Craig Multer of Chesterfield her daughter Lisa and her husband Marty Taylor of Lumberton and her son Fran and his wife Karin DiVece of Delran. Mrs. DiVece is the proud grandmother of Matthew Zachary Ava and Lauren. Maryrose is also survived and will be sadly missed by her brother Frank and his wife Cheryl Genovese of Riverside her sister Faye and her husband Richard Rothblum of Springfield VA and her aunt Rose DeVitalis of Riverside as well as many nieces and nephews.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11 am at St. Peter's RC Church Bridgeboro and Hancock Sts. Riverside. Relatives and friends are invited to join the DiVece family and share their fondest memories of Maryrose on Sunday evening between 7 and 9 pm and again on Monday morning between 10 and 10:30 am at the SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME in Riverside. Interment will follow liturgy at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum also in Riverside. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Memory Disorders Clinic Ralston House Room 212 3615 Chestnut St. Philadelphia PA. 19104 (please make checks payable to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania) or to the Buttonwood Hospital P.O. Box 6000 Mt. Holly NJ 08060.
