In loving memory of Michael Edward Griffith Jr., whom passed away in Oaklyn, New Jersey on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the young age of 23. Michael was born January 9, 1992 in Voorhees, New Jersey to Michael E. Griffith, Sr. and Denise M. Scalzo. He was passionate about four-wheeling, motorcycles, and fast cars; most times way too fast! Michael was also a loyal and dedicated friend to many and was known for bringing out the best in others. We all were blessed to have him in our lives. He was a gift to us, sent from above, and we cherish the memories and smiles that he shared with all of us. We will miss him dearly and always love him.

Michael is survived by father, Michael E. Griffith Sr. of Hartly, DE; mother, Denise M. Scalzo of Pennsauken, NJ; stepmother, Alexandra Griffith of Hartly, DE; and brother, Nicholas N. Griffith of Hartly, DE. He was also loved dearly by his aunts, Dawn Scalzo, Donna Scalzo of Pennsauken, and Donna Scalzo of Philadelphia; uncles, John Scalzo and Michael Scalzo; and cousins, Amanda, Trina, Rocko, Michael, John, and Daniel.

Funeral Services will be held at 7pm, Wednesday evening, November 18, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. A viewing will be held from 6-7pm. A private ceremony will be held at Sharon Hill Cemetery.
