Mr. Pearce,
Growing up I've been to my grandfathers house countless times. The neighbors surrounding his house were people I grew accustomed to seeing all the time. You and Mrs.Pearce were always so friendly and warm and I have missed not seeing you as much these past months. Being at college now I just wanted to send my most sincere condolences. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I feel extremely lucky to have been Mrs. Pearce's next door neighbor for so many years. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most caring individuals that I have ever met. I always enjoyed seeing her when visiting my parents. I am sorry that I could not make it today to pay my respects, but my thoughts and prayers are very much with the Pearce family. She will be missed tremendously.

I last spoke with Aunt Peg a few months ago. I had called her from Chicago to share the news that Leah and I were expecting our first child. Despite her illness, and weakened condition, I could sense the joy in her voice. I could picture the smile on her face. While I am certainly saddened Aunt Peg will not meet our little girl, I look forward to the years to come, when I can tell her of the unconditional love and kindness that was Aunt Peg. She welcomed Leah into our family with open arms, and I know she would have done the same with our baby. Her legacy will live on, even through generations which have yet to arrive.
With much love and admiration,
Jeff Barrett

To the Entire Pearce Family,
While I only had the opportunity to know Aunt Peg for a short while, she will always remain in my memory as a caring, loving and energetic women who deeply loved her family and friends. She was always genuinely interested in knowing about our lives and what we were doing and would spend all the time she had to ask us questions and listen to everything we had to share. You never felt rushed in Aunt Peg's presence.
She was a true lady in every sense and she will be greatly missed and always remembered.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you this week and in the coming months.
With Love,
Leah Barrett (Jeff Barrett)

I'll never forget Mrs. Pearce. She could be rough on you but you knew she loved you. I was probably the best 'pest' she knew in the early years on Royal Oak. Mr. and Mrs. Pearce were the first set of 'other' parents that looked after me when we first moved to Cherry Hill. Fond memories of Royal Oak and Wildwood, NJ Sincere condolences-Larry, Elizabeth, Laura, Kate, and Bren.
