Natalie Griffin Obituary

Natalie Griffin

Cherry Hill

Natalie Griffin (née Wright) on Aug. 7, 2013. Devoted wife of Gerald Alan Sr., Esq. Loving mother of Kymberley Dawn Griffin, Paige Alexandra Bederka (James), Gerald Alan Griffin Jr., and Christopher Wright Griffin (Nicole). Also dearly missed by her 14 loving grandchildren.

Natalie earned her B.A. from Skidmore College and her Masters from Indiana University. She worked as a Counselor for Goodwill Industries and for NutriSystems. She also pursued her passion for acting as a founding member of RolePlayers, an improvisational theatre group.

Natalie loved large gatherings of family and friends as well as dining out. She was a devoted wife and mother who lavished love on her family. This August 1st, Natalie and Gerry celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary.

She also was a steadfast friend. Besides her love of family and animals (she had two dogs and three cats, all who are missing her), she also had a passion for shopping, always looking for fine clothing, jewelry and shoes, as long as they were good bargains. Natalie had a great sense of humor and laughed enthusiastically at jokes as well as televised skits and comedy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday morning 10 AM to 11:30 AM in the Schetter Funeral Home 304 W. Rt. 70, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Funeral Service will begin 11:30 AM. Interment precisely 2 PM in Washington Crossing Natl. Cem., Newtown PA. In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of Natalie's ever lasting love for animals, your donation to PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society), Attn: Donor Services,100 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 ([email protected]) would be appreciated by her family. Mom, From the first day I met you, you were so classy and beautiful. You treated me as another daughter. I am so thankful I was there for the good and the bad. I will never forget our girl time lunches they meant so much to me, and mostly our times when I would take you to chemo therapy. We would talk about everything, we talk about wedding plans, what celebrated was doing what, how the family was doing and mostly what was going through your head at the time. How strong you were and want you endeared through the years. But yet you always looked beautiful. Our murder Mystery dinners I would hold that you so much loved and you were so good playing your part. Looking through the pictures everyone and your smiling or laughing. Unless you were in your part then you were serious... Now to mothering, you adopted four beautiful kids and be so proud because you did a great job. I know when we talked you worried about that but mom, there is no need. I am lucky enough to have married your son Chris. He is a wonderful man and great father.. That is because of you.... your love for animals.. Always wanting to save as many as you could... Dad would have a heart attack every time another animal came home... But what a good sport he was and you knew he would be fine once they were in the house... The love you had for your holidays. I will make sure we always keep that going and the house decorated. Your grandkids will never forget you. I will make sure your kids and grandkid will be alright and that dad is ok. So don't worry about them. I also know you are our angel now looking down on us every day. You are missed so much but the suffering is over now mom, go enjoy everything these last three years you couldn't... You will always be in our hearts.... Love you!
