PHE PHE, ALTHOUGH WE DID NOT SEE EACH OTHER THAT OFTEN, WHEN WE DID COME TOGETHER IT WAS AS THOUGH WE HAD JUST SEEN EACH OTHER "YESTERDAY" WE ALWAYS GREETED EACH OTHER WITH A BIG HUG AND A CHEERY "HOW YOU BEEN?" YOU WERE ALWAYS A WONDERFUL PERSON FROM THE FIRST TIME I MET YOU AT HATCH IN 1981. IT PAINS ME TO HAVE LEARNED OF YOUR PASSING VIA THE BOARD MINUTES. I ONLY WISH I HAD BEEN ABLE TO SEE YOU AGAIN. I WILL TRULY MISS YOU.
TO YOUR FAMILY, MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU. YOU HAVE TRULY LOST A WONDERFUL MOTHER, WIFE, FRIEND, PERSON. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.

May God bless and keep the Andrews family. I would not be the young woman, educator or administrator that I am today had it not been for Ms. Andrews' intervention. She saw in me what I did not see in myself.

To the Andrews Family:
Your loved one has been called home by the ancestor who will look after her now. She will be missed but her memory will remain with you always. I had the pleasure of working with her at Hatch in the early 90's and will always remember her smile and her dedication to her students. RIP Ms. Andrews because you have earned it

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
