(1939 - 2021) Patricia Louise Brennan Fynan, 82, of Delanco NJ died suddenly and peacefully on February 28th at Cooper Hospital in Camden. She is survived by Thomas H. Fynan, her husband of 61 years, and her sister Mary Anne Brennan of Cinnaminson, NJ. She is also survived by her son, Dr. Thomas M. Fynan and son-in-law, William Loutrel of Stockbridge, MA; her daughter, Dr. Kathleen Aldridge and son-in-law Dr. Samuel Aldridge of Gilford, NH, along with her grandchildren: Andrew, Forest, Elizabeth (Libby) and Eamon. She was predeceased by her brother, John Michael Brennan and her parents, Sarah and Andrew Brennan.
Pat was a consummate host, serving legendary holiday meals to her family and friends. She was a fabulous cook, having learned at her mother's knee. Every December she baked hundreds of cookies, to the delight of family and friends far and near. She made Irish Soda bread to share with many in March. She was an active volunteer in her community: Brownie Scout leader, softball coach, past member of the Delanco Public Library board, and served on the Delanco Board of Education for many years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Peter's Parish in Riverside, now Jesus the Good Shepherd.
Pat was trained as a laboratory technician at Nazareth Hospital. She worked for many years for Maratea Medical Laboratory. She then worked as office manager for Drs Winston and Bechtel at Moorestown Family Practice.
She was an elegant woman, always looking her best. She loved to travel, with many trips to Ireland, and cruises with her family. Most of all she loved her home and her family, and was a center of warmth, love and wisdom to all of us, who loved her mightily in return. She will be greatly missed
