Periodically, I would get a hold of Paul.... we met when he was in the Navy at Norfolk
He was so proud of that rose on his chest... Worthy of great teasing
I only met his father, his sister Mary, and John his brother, and he loved them all so very much
I think the last time we spoke, he told me that he and his family had moved to Florida, he was happy and I think he had as many children as I had husbands. In fact, I think I was getting married again and that gave him a good amount of laughter.
Heavy on my mind, I tried looking him up today and that is how I came across this
Paul filled every room he walked in
Sometimes even before he walked in the room because he was all life
I wish I had stayed closer in touch
I´m just terribly sad
He always told me he wouldn´t get old and ugly....damn Paul
you could never get ugly (cranky maybe)
