Haddon Twp. - On March 6, 2018. Beloved husband of Jana Marie (Nee Turpish). Loving father of Sheyna Marshall, Jeremy Herko, Tegan Reives, and Josh Herko. Dear brother of Beth Warrick and Nicholas Herko. Also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday from 10 to 12 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, where his funeral service will follow at 12 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Peter's memory may be made to ainsleysangels.org. For directions and online condolences please visit www.jacksonfh.net

I am lucky to see his beloved Denver Police Sergeant son on a regular basis. He misses his dad so much. He remains heartbroken over the loss of his father.

Worked with Pete at McClellan AFB, Ca from 93-98. Great NCO and knowledgeable manager. I think of those days often. My condolences to his family. RIP brother.

Sheyna, Jeremy, Tegan and Josh, Pete and I developed a long lasting great friendship. I learn more about cars from him as he was always working on them. I am deeply saddened and will always remember the times we shared together. May god bless you and give you the strength to get through this

Pete and I worked together as instructors at Lowry Air Force Base in the early 80's. He was such a great guy. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with the family in this sad and difficult time. Pete will be missed.

Shenya, Jeremy, Tegan and Josh, you are all aware of the special friendship Pete and I had during our 20+ years in the Air Force. We also had a great time bowling and socializing. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you. May God comfort you and your family.

I am blessed with knowing one of his sons, Joshua, who is a Denver Police Officer. I am lucky. He is a magnificent young man who chose to keep Denver safe. I love him.

The years I spent at AT&T with Pete were some of the best of my career. He held down the corner with a smile and more laughs than I could count. Always ready to talk cars or give me a ride in the new whip...and there were a few! I have so many great memories of Pete and his Terrible Towel. Rest In Peace, brother.
