Richard Barron Obituary
He was a loving husband, caring father and loyal friend. After 35 years with Oscar Mayer, Richard and wife Marie enjoyed winters in Florida and traveling. Richard had a great love for singing and was a member of a barber shop quartet, church choir and the Apollo Club and sang at the Vatican.
Survived are his loving wife Marie (Thein) of 56 years; sons, Joseph Barron, Thomas Barron (Maria) and Richard A. Barron; daughters, Sara Barron-Leer (Scott) and Jane Barron; grandchildren Christian, Emily, Katie and Nicholas; sister Marian Witting (John), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter Susan; sisters, Dorothy Hausman, Betty Handel, Ann Bauer and Ardell Schneider; and brother, James Barron.
Memorials may be made to North Memorial Hospice in Robbinsdale, Minn.

Just wanted to send you my sympathy in the passing of Uncle Richard.I will miss his trips to Evansville every year.Was not able to have much contact with him over the years but he always had a smile and good conversation He was a good brother to my dad Uncle Jimmy and Ruby.Prayers be with you.Keep in contact.

Tom & family, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your father/grandfather. I remember you mentioning on the last day of school in the hall how ill he was, how worried you were about his health. I have been wondering how you are doing this summer with all the changes going on for you.
I hope you and your family got to spend some quality time with him before he passed. Peace, good health, and blessings to your family during your time of sorrow and loss.
