Richard Keith Horton

AGE: 50 • Delran

Petty Officer First Class Richard Keith Horton, United States Navy, Retired, age 50, of Delran, New Jersey, on February 23, 2014 in Farmington, Maine. He graduated from Palmyra High School Class of 1982. A proud alumnus of the USS Saratoga, he was employed by New Jersey Transit as an Assistant Transportation Supervisor and Garage Supervisor at the Newton Avenue Bus Facility.

He is survived by his parents Paul Raymond and Phyllis June Horton, sons Andrew and Ryan Horton (Jo Horton); significant other Patricia Horton Foster (the Love of his Life); siblings Terry (Bonnie) Horton, Barry Horton, Cindy (George) Pierson, Dawn Horton, his nieces and nephews, Jason (Allison) Pierson, Elizabeth Pierson, Ashley, Alex and Andrew Horton; his best friend for more than 30 years Keith (Marcy) Shumway; extended family members Bud and Pat Harker, Roy Harker (Bob Ranando), Steve (Cindy) Harker and their children, Pam (Richard) Palladino and their children.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Saturday, March 8, 2014, from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM, followed by a brief Memorial Service including a presentation by the local VFW, at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street (River Road) Riverton, New Jersey (Phone: 856-829-2700). Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
